Managing a domain often requires collaboration, whether you're working with a web developer, SEO specialist, or another member of your team. Regery.com makes it easy to share domain rights securely with another user account. This guide walks you through the steps to share access and assign specific permissions.
Step-by-Step Guide to Share Domain Access
1. Log In to Your Regery Account
Begin by signing into your account at Regery.com. Make sure you are logged into the account that owns the domain you want to share.
2. Open the Domain Management Menu
Go to the Domains section in your dashboard. Find the domain you wish to share and click on Actions (located next to the domain name).
From the dropdown menu, click Share Domain.
3. Add the User
Click the Add User button. You’ll now need to provide access credentials for the person you want to share the domain with.
Important:
To share access, you must enter the email address associated with the user’s Regery account or their One-Time ID.
Where to Get the One-Time ID:
Ask the user to go to their Regery Account → Security section and copy their Support PIN. This PIN acts as their One-Time ID and is required for granting access if you don’t know their registered email.
4. Select Access Rights
After entering the user information, you can specify what level of access you want to grant. The available permissions include:
View general domain information
Allow domain renewal
Allow domain restore
Change auto-renewal settings
View and edit domain contacts
View and change extended attributes
Modify contact transition settings
Enable or disable Privacy Guard
View or edit DNS records
Access and manage URL forwarding
Change DNS provider
Manage custom nameservers
Enable DNSSEC management
Change domain status
Allow domain transfer
Manage domain tags
Simply check the boxes next to the permissions you want to grant the user.
5. Apply Changes
Once you've selected the appropriate access rights, click Apply to confirm and share the domain.
That’s it! You’ve successfully shared access to your domain.
Additional Notes
The user you are sharing access with must have an active account on Regery.com. If they don’t, they’ll need to register first.
Always share access securely, and only grant permissions necessary for the tasks at hand.
