How to Mass Enable or Disable Domain Auto-Renewal on Regery
Updated over 6 months ago

This guide will walk you through the process of using Regery’s mass operation feature to adjust the auto-renewal settings for your domains.

Navigating to the Domains Tab

Firstly, access the Domains section on Regery. You can do this by hovering your mouse over the Domains menu. This area is where all your domain management tasks begin.

Understanding Mass Operations

Regery offers a Mass Operations tool that works with a list of domains and parameters, streamlining the management process:

  • List Creation: Each domain name should be entered on a new line.

  • Parameter Setting: Following the domain name, specify the parameters separated by space or comma.

  • Comments: Lines starting with '#' are ignored in the execution but can be used to add comments for clarity.

  • Asynchronous Processing: Mass operations are scheduled and executed asynchronously as bulk operations.

  • Operation Overlap: If a domain is already undergoing another bulk operation, the new operation will be ignored.

How to Fill In the Mass Operation Form

To effectively use the mass operation feature, follow the format outlined below:

# Format: domain_name enable_auto_renew
# To enable use: 1, on, yes, true, +.

Example:
example1.com 1
example2.com yes

# To disable use: 0, off, no, false, -

Example:
example3.com 0
example4.com no

Examples and Tips

  • To Enable Auto-Renewal: Input each domain followed by a parameter like '1', 'on', 'yes', 'true', or '+'.

  • To Disable Auto-Renewal: Use '0', 'off', 'no', 'false', or '-' after the domain name to turn off auto-renewal.

Why Is This Useful?

Understanding how to manage the auto-renewal settings for your domains on a large scale not only minimizes the risk of losing domain ownership due to overlooked renewals but also ensures you are not automatically charged for domains you no longer need. This feature is particularly useful for businesses managing a large portfolio of domains, ensuring that their digital assets are controlled efficiently and cost-effectively.

By mastering these steps on Regery, you can ensure your domains are always in sync with your current needs, providing peace of mind and operational control over your online presence.
