How to Grant Access Rights to Hosting Regery
Updated over 3 months ago

Granting access rights to hosting is an important process that helps delegate tasks to other users, simplifying website management and ensuring data security. Access rights allow an administrator to share hosting resources with other individuals, such as developers, designers, or managers, who may need access to the server to perform specific tasks. This helps distribute the workload and ensures efficient management of the website or server.

Process of Granting Access Rights

To grant access rights to hosting, follow these steps:

  1. Login to your Regery account and go to the Web Hosting section.

  2. Select the required hosting — Find and select the desired hosting package or domain to which you want to grant access.

  3. Click on Actions — Open the actions menu (Actions) next to the selected hosting.

  4. Choose Access Rights — From the dropdown menu, select "Access rights."

In the pop-up window titled "Add User":

  1. Click "Add" — Click the "Add" button to start the process of adding a new user.

  2. Share rights with the user — Enter the email address or the user's "One Time ID" to whom you want to grant access. This ID can be generated from the "Security" page.

  3. Select additional options — You can also allow the user to perform paid operations if necessary.

  4. Click "Apply" — After configuring all settings and entering the necessary information, click "Apply" to save the changes.

Benefits of Granting Access

Granting access rights to hosting allows other users to perform various tasks, such as:

  • Administration and server management — Users can manage files, databases, and server settings.

  • Website development and maintenance — Developers can upload or modify files and perform other site maintenance tasks.

  • Security management — Security specialists can set up protective measures and conduct security audits.

  • Financial management — If paid operations are allowed, users can pay bills or purchase additional services.

These capabilities provide more flexibility and efficient management of resources, allow responsibility sharing among team members, and maintain a high level of security.
