How to Host External Domains on Regery Hosting
Updated over 3 months ago

Hosting external domains on Regery can be beneficial if you want to manage multiple domains through a single provider or integrate external domains with the services offered by Regery. This process is quite simple and does not require deep technical knowledge. Let's take a look at how to do it.

External domains are not directly managed by Regery but are used in other products such as hosting or DNS services. External domains require authorization via TXT DNS record or nameservers switch.

How to Host an External Domain on Regery

To host an external domain on Regery, you need to follow these steps:

  1. Access Web Hosting:

    • Log in to your Regery account and navigate to the Web Hosting section.

  2. Add the Domain:

    • Click on the Manage button and in the pop-up window, select Link to Domain.

    • Enter your domain details and choose the PHP Website option.

  1. Configure the External Domain:

    • Go to the External Domains tab.

    • Now, you need to set the Regery DNS records with your domain provider. The main DNS records to add are as follows:

      • ns1.regery.net

      • ns2.regery.net

      • ns3.regery.net

  2. Add TXT Record for Verification:

    • Besides DNS records, you will need to add a TXT record for verification:

      • TXT "regery-verification=94940eac-ц-4c17-af9c-33284c889c2f49a"

  3. Wait for DNS Records to Update:

    • After you have specified all the necessary DNS records, you will need to wait up to 24 hours for them to update. Only after this will your external domain become available on Regery hosting.

Please note that for domain connection, you have two options:

  1. Set Regery NS. In this case, installing a verification TXT record is not required.

  2. You have specified your custom NS records on the domain. You will need to add a verification TXT record for confirmation.

Conclusion

Now you know how to host an external domain on Regery. This process involves adding the domain in the Regery interface, configuring the required DNS records with your domain provider, and waiting for the records to update. Once all the steps are completed, your external domain will be successfully hosted on Regery, and you can fully manage it through their interface.

Thus, hosting external domains on Regery provides users with a convenient way to manage domains and integrate them with various websites and services.
